Gandapur gives federal govt 15-day ultimatum to resolve power issue

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has given the federal government an ultimatum of 15 days for resolviong the power issue in the province.

Expressing his views in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Friday, he said that the federal government has only 15 days for holding talks. "It will be very difficult to contrl us if we took to streets," he declared.

The chief minister said that they would turn off the power button and take over the WAPDA offices across the province.

He demanded that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be given Rs50 billion within two months. " I will go beyond it if demand for our right is irreponsibility."

He said that constituencies would be reopend and they would be given the stolen mandate. "Political parties will repent on the injustice meted out to the PTI one day. We are ready for openign the constituencies. Is the opposition ready for it?" he questioned.

He said that the word 'thief' was intolerable for the people of the province. "No one's father can impose a tax on the province. "The rulers give us a lecture on the constiution after violating it. They give us a lecture on democracy after doing anti-democracy acts," he added.
