PESHAWAR (92 News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur criticised the proposed constitutional amendment bill, stating that those who call themselves democratic parties should be ashamed of themselves.

While addressing a ceremony, the KP chief minister said that the proposed bill is an attack on democracy, vowing to defeat the ruling coalition first in the Parliament and then in courts.

He also vowed to use all kinds of constitutional powers to get legitimate rights for his province, adding that no one in the future will dare present such a bill.

On Saturday, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is in contact with the establishment, claiming that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is playing double game through him.

While addressing the National Assembly session, Khawaja Asif said that Gandapur stayed with intelligence officials willingly for seven hours after the PTI's Islamabad rally.

He said the PTI tweets against the establishment one day and bows down before the establishment the next day. He claimed that PTI founder Imran Khan wanted to get relief through the KP chief minister.

He also blamed Ali Amin Gandapur for using the language of separatists, adding that the PTI founder also wanted to keep the option of separation movement open.

The defence minister maintained that a double game is being played through Gandapur. He also criticised Opposition Leader Omar Ayub, stating that he used to give similar speeches even when he was with Nawaz Sharif and Musharraf.
