Governance model of Madina to be ensued in Pakistan, PM Imran vows
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday vowed to bring the governance model of state of Madina to Pakistan at very cost.
He said rule of law didn't prevail in the country as big culprits always enjoyed huge facilities and people did politics in the name of religion.
Addressing a gathering in connection with National Minorities Day at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Monday, he reiterated his commitment to build Pakistan on the model of Madina to ensure people's rights, rule of law and provision of facilities to citizens on equal footing.
Imran Khan said the PTI government has been carrying out struggle for ensuring provision of rights to people following the principles practiced in the state of Madina.
The premier said a process has also been initiated in the universities to acquaint our youth with the ideals and concepts of the state of Madina, which indeed was a modern state.
"The government will protect and develop worship places of minorities in the country and also facilitate them to the maximum level to perform them religious rituals."
He said the government is committed to open Kartarpur Corridor for Sikh community on 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
The prime minister regretted those are raising hue and cry had been questioned against their deeds.
"When the government is implementing law against the past rulers- who took the country's loan from Rs6,000 billion to Rs24,000 billion rupees- they are raising hue and cry."
He said those who are facing corruption cases are concealing evidence to save their skins.
