Helpless victims face severe weather as floods destroy infrastructure in Balochistan

QUETTA (92 News) - Rains and floods have wreaked havoc across the province, destroying the infrastructure and crops at a large scale.
Hundreds of house and bridges have collapsed while roads and localities have drowned. Owing to cut-off roads, the starving victims are facing the weather helplessly.
Rains have caused devastation in Lasbella, Hub, Gaddani, Mach, Jhal Magsi, Naushki and Ziarat. Quetta-Taftan Roas has been inundated due to breaking of the dam near Lak Pass.
Sindh-Balochistan Highway remained closed near Lasbella for 7th day. In Chaghi, the Pak-Iran train service has been suspended after the Bab-e-Pakistan.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the Pak Army and district administration are continuing the relief activities in the flood-hit areas.
