Independent candidate shot dead in Bajaur
BAJAUR (92 News) - Unknown people shot dead an independent candidate in Bajaur on Wednesday.
Rehanzeb, an independent candidate from NA-8 and PK-22, was on his way when unknown people opened fire at him and fled. He died on the spot.
On the other hand, the polling in PK-91 has been postponed due to death of ANP candidate Asmatullah Khattak. The district returning officer has issued a notification in this regard.
Meanwhile, Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected PTI president's plea for getting the election symbol of a 'peacock' and upheld the ECP decision to award him the symbol of a 'cart'.
