Indian troops martyr two more Kashmiri youth in Shopian
SRINAGAR (92 News) – In Indian-held Jammu Kashmir (IHK), Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Shopian district on Friday.
The troops martyred the youth during a violent cordon and search operation at Adkhara in Imam Sahib area of the district.
The operation is going on till the last reports came in. Earlier, an Indian soldier was injured in an attack in the same area.
Meanwhile, the occupation authorities have imposed strict restrictions in Shopian district and snapped internet services across entire south Kashmir.
During the month, 132 people were critically injured due to the firing of pellets, bullets and teargas shells by Indian police and paramilitary personnel on peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territory.
At least 182 civilians, mostly youth and Hurriyat leaders and activists, were arrested and several of them were booked under black law Public Safety Act.
The troops after barging into residential houses molested at least six women and ransacked and damaged 20 houses during the period.
Indian troops arrest 44 youth in crackdown in Shopian, Pulwama
A day earlier, In Indian-held Jammu Kashmir (IHK), Indian troops have arrested at least 44 youth during the ongoing massive crackdown in Shopian and Pulwama districts.
State terrorism by Indian forces continued in the IHK. According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the troops and police personnel during night raids arrested 38 persons from Tahab and Chewakalan areas of Pulwama and six from Vehil and Narwah areas of Shopian.
Pulwama and Shopian districts are scheduled to go for polls on Monday during the final phase of the so-called Indian Parliamentary elections in occupied Kashmir and the last leg of the three-phased polls being held for the Islamabad constituency of the Lok Sabha.
Over forty youth have been detained by the Indian forces since last week during nocturnal raids in the two districts.
Indian troops martyr 13 Kashmiris in April
On April 1, In IHK, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred 13 Kashmiris including a young boy during the last month.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), today, these killings rendered one woman widowed and two children orphaned.
