Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, MQM delegation discuss political situation

KARACHI (92 News) - Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on a delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Thursday.

During the meeting, they discussed political situation as well matters of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on law and order situation in Karachi.

The minister assured the MQM delegation of play the role for resolving their issues. "Problems can only be resolved by evolving consensus among political parties," he declared.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also called on the Chinese consul general at Chinese Consulate. He apprised the Chinese consul general of steps taken for the security of the Chinese nationals.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori at Governor's House to discuss overall political and economic situation in the country, role of security agencies in establishing law and order and other issues of mutual interest.

In the meeting, it was agreed to ensure non-discriminatory measures against crime while expressing commitment to use all resources for maintenance of law and order.
