ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial on Monday remarked that it is hoped that trial of civilians will not start in military courts during the hearing of the case related to the trial of civilians in military courts in the Supreme Court.

The seven-member bench hearing the case again dissolved after the government objected to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. Later, the six-member bench conducted the hearing.

During the hearing, the court also informed the Attorney General about the details of the arrested people as well as the complaints of meetings of 102 detainees with their families and unavailability of food.

The court rejected counsel Salman Akram Raja's request for a stay order against the trial of civilians in military courts and PTI chairman's plea for formation of a judicial commission for investigations into the May 9 incidents.

Later, the hearing was adjourned until tomorrow.
