SUKKUR (92 News) - PPP leader Khurshid Shah has said that it would have been better if some other personality had been made the caretaker prime minister.

Reacting to the appointment of the caretaker prime minister on Saturday, he said that one should hope for the good where the caretaker prime minister is mentioned.

"The name of Anwarul Haq Kakar has been taken from the Senate, but we were not thinking it so," he added.

The PPP leader said that the doubt in the conduct of the elections was created when a bill increasing the power of the caretaker government was approved.

He said that Anwarul Haq Kakar will be remembered if he succeeded in the conduct of fair and transparent elections.
