HARYANA - People hoisted Khalistan flags in several Indian states, including Haryana, on its Independence Day on Monday.

According to the media report, the Sikh youths conducted the Khalistan Flag Campaign in difference states. They staged demonstrations and chanted slogans in favour of the Khalistan movement and against India.

Meanwhile in Nankana Sahib, the Sikh community observed the Indian Independence Day as Black Day. A protest rally was taken out from Gurdwara Janamasthan to Tahsil Morr.

Punjabi Sikh Sangat chairman Gopal Singh Chawala and other leaders led the rally. The participants chanted slogans in favour of Khalistan and against India.

Addressing the participants, the leaders said that a discriminatory attitude was being adopted towards all minorities. "In India, our Gurdwaras have been attacked. An attempt is being made to carry out genocide of the Sikhs in India. Kashmir and Khalistan will be liberated soon," they maintained.
