LHC appellate tribunal allows Ch Pervaiz Elahi to contest by-election from PP-32

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore High Court appellate tribunal on Tuesday allowed PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi to contest the by-election from PP-32.

The court also gave ahead to Zara Elahi and Sameera Elahi to contest the election.

Earlier, the returning officer had rejected the nomination papers of Chaudhary Parvez Elahi and three other female candidates, all belonging to the PTI, for unknown reasons.

Their nomination papers were submitted after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) extended the last date of filing the papers to March 20.
