Lt Gen Asim Malik appointed as new DG ISI: ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been appointed as the new Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Asim Malik will assume his new responsibility on September 30.
Lt Gen Asim Malik is currently serving as the Adjutant General in the General Headquarters (GHQ). He has previously commanded the Infantry Division in Balochistan and the Infantry Brigade in Waziristan.
Lt Gen Asim Malik has also received the sword of honour in his course. Apart from this, he has also been posted as Chief Instructor NDU and Instructor Command and Staff College Quetta.
Moreover, he is also a graduate of Fort Leavenworth and the Royal College of Defence Studies.
