PM chairs federal cabinet meeting on 18-points agenda
ISLAMABAD (92 News) –Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Thursday chaired the federal cabinet meeting on the 18-point agenda.
The meeting was held in Islamabad. The cabinet discussed a set of 18 points agenda pertaining to matters of national and international importance.
The prime minister was briefed on progress with regard to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s reform agenda.
the meeting reviewd also to give approval for renewal of the Regular Public Transport (RPT) licence of AirBlue owned by former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The endorsement of the decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) in its February 26 meeting, posting of the POFB member production coordination, posting of MPC in heavy industries Taxila Board and posting of member ministerial coordination in POF board are also part of the agenda.
Cabinet condemns Indian aggression, lauds forces for stunning response
Earlier on Feb 28, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired meeting of the federal cabinet at PM’s Office. The Federal Cabinet has reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to peace and stability while fully protecting its sovereignty, preserving its territorial integrity and responding with full force in case of any external aggression.
The cabinet praised the armed forces for their calibrated response to the Indian aggression which was designed to give a message that though Pakistan has the capability, it does not intend to harm innocent civilians or cause undue damage.
