Money laundering case: FIA seeks arrest of PM Shehbaz Sharif and CM Hamza Shehbaz

LAHORE (92 News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have sought arrest warrant of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz from Lahore Special Court (LSC) in money laundering case.

According to details, hearing of money laundering was held in LSC on Saturday. The FIA Prosecuter Farooq Bajwa has submitted report to the court. He requested more time to investigate accused.

Meanwhile, Councel of accused Amjad Pervaiz said that FIA could not produce any evidence even after investigations of 18 months. “This case is the worst political engineering of perious government. All transactions are legal and business related activities. All allegations on Punjab CM Hamza Shehbaz are baseless,” he added.

The case is adjourned for some time.
