Most wanted Al-Qaeda-TTP terrorist leader Iqbal alias Bali killed in encounter with police in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN (92 News) – Iqbal alias Bali, the most wanted terrorist leader belonging to the Al-Qaeda and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Khiyarah Group, was killed in an encounter with the police near Fateh Morr, Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday.

The terrorist along with his accomplice was fleeing after attacking the police when the police chased and killed both of them after an encounter.

According to the police, Iqbal alias Bali Khiyarah was wanted by the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in 26 incidents of terrorists and target killings.

The government had announced Rs10.5 million as head money for the terrorist.

The police said that the terrorist was also involved in the suicide attack in the DI Khan DHQ Hospital trauma centre. He was also involved in the attack on the Sri Lankan team.
