Murder for ransom: Friends turn out to be student’s killers
GUJRANWALA (92 News) – The police have arrested the friends of the student who was murdered for ransom in Gujranwala.
According to the police, Faisal and Muktiar had kidnapped Hanzla, a student of class 7, for ransom a month ago. Later, the body was found from bushes in a deserted place.
Both accused have confessed to the crime.
Amir, uncle of the victim, told 92 News that they had received a single call from the kidnappers. He said that the accused had taken Hanzla to Noshehra Virkan and killed him the same day.
The victim’s father had announced a prize of Rs one million for those informing about his son.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the IGP Punjab.
