NAB asks Interior Ministry to put Hamza, Salman on ECL

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday requested the Ministry of Interior to put names of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz, his brother Salman Shehbaz on the exit control list (ECL). According to the Lahore NAB spokesperson, It has been requested to the federal ministry to put name of Hamza and Salman Shehbaz on the ECL, adding that the summary regarding to this submitted in the concerned ministry. The spokesperson also said that the two brothers are facing the probe in the case related to assets beyond income. Meanwhile, the NAB is investigating three cases, including the assets beyond means case, against Hamza Shehbaz. Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended the pre-arrest bail of Hamza Shehbaz, son of former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif, until November 20. On November 9, Hamza Shehbaz appeared before the NAB in the assets beyond means case. The NAB interrogated Hamza Shehbaz for over two hours. Salman Shehbaz, who is abroad, did not appear before the NAB. On November 5, the NAB summoned Salman Shehbaz and Hamza Shehbaz in the assets beyond means case. Hamza Shehbaz went to Islamabad to attend a meeting of the PML-N, while Salman Shehbaz had already gone to London.
