National Assembly adopts resolution to file a reference against CJP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution to file a reference against Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial.

The parliamentarians unanimously accorded approval to move a motion for the reference.

A special parliamentary committee has been formed to give the reference the final shape. The committee will comprise of Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha, Khurshid Junejo, Salahudddin Ayubi, Shahnaz Baloch and Salahuddin.

The resolution was tabled by Sobia Soomro. The House also approved a condemnation resolution against the attacks on the estate properties.
