One party should get majority if problems are to be resolved: Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz cast their votes in Lahore.

Speaking on the occasion, they urged the people to come out and cast their voters. "No doubt Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Nawaz worked hard and did a lot of work for the party in difficult time," he added.

The PML-N chief said that the people will have to end the culture of calling each other's names.

To a question about the coalition government, he said: "For God's sake, do not mention the coalition government. Only one party should get the mandate and it should not rely on other parties if the problems are to be resolved," he added.

Meanwhile, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif cast his vote in Model Town. Maryam Aurangzeb cast her vote in Murree, while Hanif Abbasi in Rawalpindi and Khawaja Asif in Sialkot.

Assefa Bhutto Zardari cast her vote in Nawabshah, Murad Ali Shah in Sehwan Sharif and Khurshid Shah in Sukkur.

PPP leader Saeed Ghani and MQM's Farooq Sattar cast their votes in Karachi.
