OGRA approves 45 pc hike in gas prices

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Saturday approved an increase of 45 percent for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and 44 percent for Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited (SSGPL).

According to the notification, an increase of Rs308.53 per MMBT has been made for the SSGPL and a raise of Rs266 per MMBT for the SNGPL.

People have demanded the government withdraw the decision regarding the increase in the gas price.
