Operation Azm-e-Istehkam will in fact prove to be ‘Operation Instability’: JUI-F chief

QUETTA (92 News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazalrur Rehman has said that the Operation Azm-e-Istehkam will in fact prove to be the ‘Operation Instability’.

Addressing a press conference along with the leaders of the six-party alliance on Monday, he said that the establishment will have to end its supremacy from each sector.

He said that Shehbaz Sharif was pleased for sitting in the chair of the prime minister, not becoming the prime minister. “The decision to launch the operation will be made by someone else, but political parties will take its responsibility,” he added.

Maulana Fazalrur Rehman was of the view that presently the state’s writ is zero in the country. “Armed outfits are roaming in the country openly. In Khyber Pakhtunkhw, the police restrict themselves to stations after the sunset,” he maintained.

He said that democracy and the parliament had lost their case. “Pakistan can only be strengthened by following the constitution,” he added.
