Pakistan Navy seizes large hoard of hashish near Pasni

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Navy apprehended about 2000 kg Hashish worth over 30 million US dollars during an intelligence based operation (IBO) while cache was being transported via sea near Pasni, Balochistan. The cache was subsequently handed over to Anti Narcotics Force for disposal. The operation was executed with meticulous planning, constant surveillance and obtaining precise intelligence, which demonstrates Pakistan Navy’s resolve to prevent any kind of unlawful activities taking Place along our coast and adjacent sea areas. Pakistan Navy remains committed to its national and international obligations to maintain peace and order at sea.
Earlier, annual credentials distribution ceremony of Pakistan Navy’s Logistics Command was held in Karachi. Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Kaleem Shaukat was chief guest on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, the vice admiral Pakistan Navy said that the Logistics Command was very important in Pakistan Navy and it was performing its responsibilities in a befitting manner. He said that with the induction of new vessels in the fleet of Pakistan Navy, the responsibilities of Logistics Command had enhanced. Earlier, Commander Logistics Rear Admiral Adnan Khaliq presented the annual performance of the Logistics Command in the ceremony. Meanwhile, the chief guest awarded the credentials and shields to the best performers of various fields.
