ISLAMABAD (92 News) - More than 20 thousand COVID-19 tests were conducted in one day across the country. 661 new patients were diagnosed with the virus. One person died yesterday.

COVID-19 cases started increasing day by day across the country, NIH officials say that in the last 24 hours, 20 thousand 80 corona tests were conducted across the country, out of which 661 people were diagnosed with corona. In the last 24 hours, 1 person died of Corona, the person who died belonged to Punjab.

The condition of 171 corona virus patients across the country is critical. NIH officials further say that the rate of positive cases of corona in the last 24 hours was 3.29 percent.

The highest rate of positive cases was recorded in Swabi at 33.33 percent. Apart from this, the rate of positive cases in Nowshera was 20.00 while in Muzaffarabad it was 16.33 percent. 13.80 percent in Lahore. 12.00 percent in diam. 6.25 in Gujarat.

Mardan 5.02 while Multan recorded 4.81 percent while Islamabad positive cases rate 4.45. 4.21% was recorded in Faisalabad and 4.12% in Mirpur.
