PCB chairman hints at major changes in team after defeat at hands of India

NEW YORK (92 News) - Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday hinted at major changes in the national team after their defeat at the hands of India.

Reacting to the defeat, he said that he knew about the reasons behind the defeat.

“I know very well what is going on in the team. I thought a minor surgery will work out. Now I believe that there is need for a big surgery. The nation will soon witness the major surgery being performed,” he maintained.

The PCB chairman said that it was the right time to give opportunity to the new talent sitting outside. “The team is at its lowest performance. Our biggest challenge is to improve the performance of the team,” he added.

He expressed the resolve to make the Pakistan cricket team the best one.
