ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has asid that peaceful protest is the everyone's right, but rioters will be dealt with according to the law.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that the conduct of the elections despite unusual conditions was a great success.

"The delay in the election results does not mean rigging. In 2018, the election results were compiled in 66 hours while the results of these elections have been completed in 36 hours. There might be some anomalies in the elections, but a forum is available to address the complaints," he added.

The PM declared that strict action will be taken against those who found involved in violent protest. "The words about making Pakistan a Dhaka are baseless. This is the environment of politics of levelling allegations Neither any government allows anarchy nor we will allow it," he maintained.

He declared that peaceful elections were held despite the threats of terrorism. "The power will be transferred to the new government soon," he declared.
