PIA Hajj flights start from Karachi, First flight departs

KARACHI (92 News) - The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started its flight operations from Karachi and first flight has departured carrying pilgrims of Hajj on Wednesday.

According to sources, the PIA flight number PK-743 departured to Madina carrying 291 passengers. PIA Director Air Vice Marshall Irfan Zaheer said farewell to passengers with garlands of flowers.

Sources say that PIA also distributed umbrellas among passengers. Officials requested pilgrims to pray for the safety and security of the country and PIA. Meanwhile, every possible facility is being provided to passengers on the instructions of Federal Minister for Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique passengers. CPO PIA Amir Hayat himself is supervising Hajj operations.
