PM, Saudi prince jointly preside over meeting of Supreme Coordination Council
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman jointly presided over the inaugural meeting of Supreme Coordination Council in Islamabad tonight.
The council will ensure implementation of bilateral cooperation in important sectors.
The ministers of foreign affairs, the defence, the defence production, finance, energy, petroleum, water resources and information of both countries are included as members of the council.
The ministers for cultural, interior and human resources will also be the members of the Supreme Coordination Council.
The meeting of the Supreme Coordination Council will be held in Riyadh and Islamabad respective every year. Steering Committee and Joint Working Groups under the council have also been formed.
The establishment of Supreme Coordination Council was proposed by the Saudi Crown Prince.

Earlier, a historic moment as His Highness, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman is received by Prime Minister Imran Khan on his arrival at Nur Khan Air Base.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Pakistan on a two-day historic visit on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
