KARACHI (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has hinted at making unpopular decisions for the progress of the country.

Talking to the media at Sindh CM House on Wednesday, he said that the biggest problem being faced by the country was economic stability. "The Federation and provinces will have to make a close relation. In the coming months and weeks, delegations from different countries will visit Pakistan. The country will attract investment if the Federation and provinces will jointly work," he declared.

During the meeting of the Sindh Cabinet, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah raised the issue of non-issuance of funds from the Federation and not getting a share from the new development schemes.

During his visit, Karachi-based traders advised PM Shebaz Sharif to shake hand with the PTI founder. Speaking on the occasion, businessman Arif Habib said that where the PM had shaken hand with other political parties he should also shake one hand with India and another with the dwellers of the Adiala jail.

APP adds: "As a result of the February 8 elections, the people gave a mandate to Pakistan People’s Party in Sindh while in Punjab, they gave opportunity to Pakistan Muslim League (N). “In Federation, there is a split mandate and we have to respect it," said PM Shehbaz Sharif.

He mentioned his camaraderie developed with CM Murad Ali Shah and said that in case of any problem, they talked and sorted out things immediately. “Due to such relationship, today federal and the provincial ministers are sitting together and discussing ways to face the challenges confronted by our country,” he added.

He expressed gratitude to the CM Sindh and his cabinet for their warm welcome with great enthusiasm. He said after arrival in Karachi he visited Mazar-e-Quaid and paid rich tribute to the father of the nation.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah congratulated PM Shehbaz Sharif on assuming office of the prime minister for second term. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarrar, Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Jam Kamal, Qaisar Shaikh and members of the provincial cabinet also attended the meeting.
