PML-N challenges election of Punjab Assembly speaker in LHC

LAHORE (92 News) - The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday challenged the election of the Punjab Assembly speaker in the Lahore High Court.
A two-member bench of the LHC will hear the case on Monday.
Talking to the media, PML-N leader Ata Tarar said that writing of the serial number on the ballot paper is the violation of the law and the constitution. "Therefore, the election should be declared null and void and be held afresh," he added.
He said that the PML-Q had hijacked the PTI. "The judicial chief minister has been brought for the NRO. The government is a quest for a few days," he maintained.
