PML-N's Sardar Ayaz Sadiq submits nomination papers for slot of NA speaker

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N's Sardar Ayaz Sadiq submitted his nomination papers for the slot of National Assembly speaker on Thursday.

Meanwhile, PPP's Ghulam Mustafa Shah submitted his nomination papers for NA deputy speaker.

The NA secretary received the nomination papers. The ruling alliance had nominated Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Ghulam Mustafa Shah for the positions of speaker and deputy speaker respectively.

On the other hand, the Sunni Ittehad Council has nominated Amir Dogar and Junaid Khan for the slots of speaker and deputy speaker. The election for both slots will be held on Friday.

The House will elect the prime minister on March 4.
