PML-N terms PTI intra-party election as selection

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday termed the PTI intra-party election as selection, saying that what sort of the election had been conducted at an unknown location where there was neither voter nor a voters' list.

Talking to the media on Saturday, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that only 'clients' had voted and the voting was completed in 15 minutes. "A press release has been issued after completing paper formalities," she added.

She said that the people of Pakistan had made a plan to make Nawaz Sharif the prime minister for the fourth time. "During the 16-month tenure, Shehbaz Sharif joined the friendly countries and held fund-raising," she maintained.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the PML-N was ready for the February 8 elections.

Meanwhile, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party spokesman Fayyaz Chohan rejected the results of the intra-party elections. "Will the PTI voters accept the results if such elections are held on February 8?" he queried.
