Pneumonia claims nine more lives, 275 new cases reported across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The deadly pneumonia claimed nine more lives, while 275 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours across the country.

According to details, 155 cases were reported in Lahore alone. The number of people affected with pneumonia has risen to 8,140 while the death toll has risen to 188.

The affected people are being treated in hospitals with pneumonia, chest infection and viral infection. There is an acute shortage of medicines and vaccine used for treating pneumonia.

The health experts have advised the parents to adopt precautionary measures and not allow their children to come out of houses unnecessarily.
