ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prices of daily-use items have gone sky high with the start of the Ramazan-ul-Mubarik.

The rates of almost all items, including fruit, vegetables, meat and spices, have witnessed a significant increase on the first of the holy month.

As per details, onion is being sold at Rs300 per kg, potatoes at Rs80 per kg, apple at Rs350 per kg, guava at Rs200 per kg, strawberry at Rs400 per kg, 'basin' at Rs240 per kg and date of normal quality at Rs700 per kg.

Citizens have decried the increase in the rates of daily-use items, terming it unjustified. They said that the price-hike had made two-time bread impossible for them.
