Protesters set ablaze checkpost after citizen tortured to death by police

FAISALABAD (92 News) – Protesters set ablaze a checkpost after a citizen was tortured to death by the police during a raid in Makkoana area on Tuesday. The officials, however, left the place and remained unhurt. The protesters also continued their protest on Jaranwala Road for several hours. The protesters refused to hold talks with the police. They demanded immediate arrest of the officials involved in the raid. The Khurrianwala DSP said that it could not be clarified which police station officials had raided the area.
