PTI against carving out another province in Sindh: PM assures GDA
KARACHI (92 News) – The Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) members called on Prime Minister Imran Khan during his daylong visit in Karachi on Friday.
The GDA members expressed their reservations on the demand of Sindh division during the meeting. While talking to the delegation of allies parties of PTI, the priem minister has made it clear that PTI is against carving out another province in Sindh.
PM Khan also explained that after the introduction of PTI’s local bodies system there will be no need of any division.
Political and overall situation of Sindh, federally funded developmental projects in Sindh province and issues of allies were also discussed during the meeting.
Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Khurram Sher Zaman, Haleem Adil Shaikh, Faisal Vowda, Ashraf Qureshi, Arbab Ghulam Raheem, Nand Kumar,Nusrat Sahar Abassi, Saddaruddin Shah Rashidi and others were also present on the occasion.
On the other hand, the delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) did not attend the meeting.
