ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has termed the government decision to ban the party as ridiculous, saying that the winds are changing.

Reacting to the government’s decision on Monday, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub said that the people were witnessing the revengeful activities of the government.

Opposition Leader in the Senate Shibli Faraz said that no method of the government to stop the PTI could be successful.

“The government should experience the result of banning the PTI as well. It is trying to take the country towards anarchy. Any such decision will create political instability in the country,” he added.

Barrister Ali Zafar said that all cases against the PTI founder will be quashed and the Article 6 case cannot be constituted against him. “The SC will not be changed now.”

Former NA speaker Asad Qaisar said that a no-confidence movement would be tabled against the government and it would be fully contested.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the government’s decision to ban the PTI is not more than its desire. “The government formed after stealing the mandate has lost its senses.”
