Rain brings respite from sweltering heat in several areas

QUETTA (92 News) - Rain brought a sigh of relief for the people in several areas across the country on Tuesday.

Several areas, including Mardan, Nowshera, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Zhob, Sohbatpur and Harnai, received a heavy rain.

Incessant rain coupled with hailstorm made weather pleasant, causing loss to crops. Owing to the rain, low-lying areas were inundated while power supply to several areas was disrupted.

The Met Office has predicted that the rain spell will continue till Wednesday. On the other hand, six people were killed due to lightning in Mithi, Tharparkar.
