Registration begins for “Naya Pakistan Housing Programme”
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The registration process for Prime Minster Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme began on Monday.
In the initial phase, the large number of people stood in the queues within ten cities of fixed centers by NADRA. The form would be submitted during the 60 days. These forms can be submitted on Saturday and Sunday.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony at Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Registration Center, Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi said that the initiative would help enhance public trust in the state institutions and create job opportunities besides providing affordable housing to the masses. Responding to the critics, he has said that criticize and make at laugh is very easy task.
PM Imran had launched the mega housing project on October 10. Initially, the project will be launched in seven districts which include Faisalabad, Sukkur, Quetta, Swat, Islamabad, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad
How to apply
The registration form can be downloaded from NADRA's website and can be submitted till December 21 along with Rs250 registration fee at selected district offices which are as follows:
Sukkur: DC Office
Quetta: NADRA Registration Centre, Sariab Road
Gilgit: DC Office
Muzaffarabad: DC Office old secretariat
Swat: DC Office, District Court, Mengura
Islamabad: NADRA Mega Center, Blue Area
Faisalabad: DC Office Faisalabad
Criteria for eligibility
Only one person per family is eligible to apply for the scheme.
Preference will be given to candidates who do not own any independent residential unit in Pakistan.
Based on the data collected from the forms, housing specification, including design, price and site, will be decided for the applicants.
