Riots after Imran Khan's arrest are regrettable and shameful: Asif Zardari

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former president Asif Zardari has said that the riots after the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan are regrettable and shameful.

Reacting to the unrest following the arrest of Imran Khan on Wednesday, he said that Imran Khan has been arrested in a corruption case.

He said that Imran Khan should neither flee nor he should be fearful, but he should face the courts. "I remained in jail for 14 years and did not allow any jiyala to take the law into his hand," he added.

The former president said that sabotage of the state properties and anarchy will not be tolerated.
