JARANWALA (92 News) - PPP leader Saeed Ghani and Karachi Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Hafiz Naeem visited Saint Patrick's Church in Jaranwala on Friday.

They expressed solidarity with the Christian community over the tragic incident.

Speaking on the occasion, Saeed Ghani said that they will have to take steps jointly to stop such incidents. "Islam does not allow such incidents in any way. If someone does such act, the state is present. It is a very shameful act. It is not justified to burn the houses of innocent people on the basis of an incident," he added.

He said that the Christian community had supported the Muslims over the Swesen incident. "The people involved in the incident are fanatics, not religious. It is a conspiracy to defame Pakistan," he added.

Hafiz Naeem said that the government will have to devise a comprehensive strategy after investigating such incidents. "The nation condemns the incident. The departments should take action if blasphemy act was done. It is an attempt to defame the country," he added.
