SC achieves another milestone, launches e-court system
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan achieved another milestone by launching the e-court system.
A three-member Bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa heard the cases through the application of latest video-link connectivity.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa congratulated the lawyers present in Karachi Registry on the launch of the e-court system. “The e-court system does not exist in any Supreme Court across the world,” he remarked.
He said that they were going to launch a new system with the cooperation of lawyers.
The CJP remarked that they were taking the step to fulfil the constitutional responsibility of providing inexpensive and quick justice. “The e-court system will save the time and money of petitioners,” he said.
He said that Supreme Court IT Committee In-charge Justice Mashir Alam and Justice Masnoor Ali Shah deserve congratulations. “The NADRA chairman and DG worked day and night to make it possible,” he remarked.
