SC allows Sanaullah Masti Khel to contest elections

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Supreme Court of Pakistan has allowed PTI-backed candidate Sanaullah Masti Khel, a candidate from NA-91 Bhakkar, to contest the elections.

The court nullified the judgment of the LHC Multan bench. The court also ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to include his name in the ballot papers.

Meanwhile, Sanam Javed, an independent candidate, has also approached the Supreme Court to contest the elections. The LHC had rejected the nomination papers of Sanam Javed from NA-119, NA-120 and PP-150.

On the other hand, Shaukat Basra, a candidate from NA-16, has also filed a petition in the SC to seek permission to contest the elections.
