SC can explain constitution, can't rewrite it: ANP leader Mian Iftikhar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mian Iftikhar has said that the Supreme Court can explain the constitution, but cannot rewrite it.

Addressing the participants of the PDM sit-in outside the Supreme Court on Monday, he said that they had come out for supremacy of the constitution and the parliament.

"Today the situation is so much worse that the agreement cannot be signed with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Today Imran Khan is the reason behind the inflation," he added.

He expressed the resolve to end the terrorist politics of the PTI. "Imran Khan tell lies daily. The Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies were dissolved illegally," he maintained.
