SC orders Asif Zardari, Faryal Talpur to submit reply in a week

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur to submit a reply in the money laundering case in a week. Hearing the mega money laundering case on Monday, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar remarked that the ministers’ job is to do legislation, but they have started commentary on TV. “Nothing has occurred yet. But the people have started raising hue and cry,” he added. He also expressed his indignation over leaking of the JIT report. Chief Justice Saqib Nisar also ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to probe into the Latif Khosa audio tape. During the hearing, Baharia Town CEO Malik Riaz asked the CJP to issue an order as he wants to settle all matters. Addressing Malik Riaz, the CJP remarked: “You (Malik Riaz) have been forming and dissolving governments. Please return the looted money. We had demanded Rs 1,000 billion and please give the amount.” He questioned Malik Riaz that how much billions he needs to lead his life. The CJP also hinted at assigning the investigations of Malik Riaz to the National Accountability Bureau. The court adjourned the case until Monday.
