ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has once again demanded to end the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), saying that the fifth year has started since his hearings in the NAB.

Talking to the media after a court hearing on Tuesday, he said that the president and the prime ministers have served the jails of the NAB. "All chief ministers have joined the investigations of the NAB. Now this stunt should come to an end," he added.

He said that it was responsibility of the government to withdraw the NAB laws. "No officer is not ready to do his work due to fear of the NAB. This institution was made, but it did not benefit the people," he added.

He did not respond to a question about regarding Maryam Nawaz becoming the chief minister.
