SHC orders medical examination of Dua Zahra to determine her age

KARACHI (92 News) - The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered to conduct a medical examination of Dua Zahra, the missing girl who got married of her choice, to determine her age.

A bench consisting of two members conducted the hearing on Monday. The police produced Dua Zahra and her alleged husband before court.

The court asked Dua Zahra about her age and when she was kidnapped. She replied that she was 18 and she was not kidnapped. “I had gone by my own choice and I want to go with Zaheer,” she added.

The court also ordered the authorities to shift Dua Zahra to a shelter home.
