Shehbaz Sharif, Raja Riaz sign advice to appoint Anwarul Haq Kakar as caretaker PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Raja Riaz on Saturday signed the advice to appoint Anwarul Haq Kakar as the caretaker prime minister.

According to a statement issued by the PM House, a meeting was held between the prime minister and the opposition leader at PM House. The final consultative process concluded amicably and both agreed to appoint Anwarul Haq Kakar as the caretaker prime minister.

The statement said that the prime minister and the opposition leader had signed the advice and sent it to President Arif Alvi.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Raja Riaz said that Anwarul Haq Kakar will be the prime minister.

He said that they had reached consensus on the name of Anwarul Kakar.
