Sher Afzal Marwat challenges general elections in SC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat on Friday filed a petition challenging the general elections in the Supreme Court.

He also challenged the ECP Inquiry Committee to probe the allegations of rigging levelled by Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha.

In addition, he also challenged the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja and the ECP member.

On the other hand, the Peshawar High Court has ordered action against the Punjab police party that made an attempt to arrest Mian Aslam Iqbal. The PTI had filed a contempt of court petition.

The court ordered the Punjab IGP to register a case against the police officials.
