Son turns out to be killer of Dr Shahid Siddique in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - The son of Dr Shahid Siddique, who was murdered in Lahore a couple of days ago, turned out to be his killer.

The killer Qayyum made startling revelations during the investigations. According to the police, Qayyum in collusion with his friend had planned to kill his father.

The accused wanted to contract the marriage of his choice. On refusal of his father, he had made an attempt to murder his father in January.

The police said that the accused got managed the second attack on his father in exchange for Rs20 million. The killer continued to seek justice after the murder. He himself led the funeral prayers for his father.

The police have arrested the friend of Qayyum. Further investigations are underway.
