Sugar price increased by Rs4 per kg to Rs150 per kg

LAHORE (92 News) - The sugar price increased by Rs4 per kg to Rs150 per kg in the country.

According to the authorities, the ex-mill price of sugar is Rs142 per kg and it will be available at Rs144 per kg in the wholesale market.

On the other hand, the chicken price has also gone beyond the reach of the common man. It is being sold at Rs850 per kg in several cities, including Lahore, Faisalabad and others.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government seems to be helpless before the tandoor mafias as it failed to implement the official rate so far. The 'Roti' and 'Naan' are being sold at Rs20 and Rs25 respectively.
